Integration

makes communicating easy.

Most vendors claim to integrate their systems with others that reside in the communications center. However, true integration involves more than simply connecting two proprietary systems in order to transfer data and voice.

True integration provides the ability of combining previously disparate systems into a single, consistent user interface. Additionally, integration can provide new and unique ways of performing tasks that previously were not possible, or were difficult to perform. This is what DISPATCHWorks does.

DISPATCHWorks is described as an open system, since it resides on a Microsoft Windows NT platform and makes use of standard Windows protocols to communicate with other systems, such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and mapping applications. The integration of DISPATCHWorks and CAD and mapping programs results in the most efficient user interface, and new and unique features such as Map Controlled Radio and GEOQueue (Map-controlled Call Queueing).
